This policy covers Bilsign Field Guide, a new independent educational publication at bilsigncompany.com. It is not the privacy policy of the former sign company or any previous domain operator.
An editorial message may include your name, email, topic and message. Do not submit sign drawings, access credentials, financial information, protected building-security details or personal information that is unnecessary for the request.
The sign brief and consent choice are stored in localStorage on your device. The current static site does not automatically transmit that brief to us. Clearing the worksheet or browser storage removes the local copy.
Hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, date, time and error data to deliver and protect the site.
We use data to respond to requests, correct content, administer privacy rights, secure the service and meet legal obligations. Depending on context, processing relies on consent, a requested interaction, legitimate operational interests or legal duties.
We may use service providers for hosting, security and email under appropriate terms. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Editorial correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the request, correction record, legal obligations and dispute prevention. Technical records follow provider security and operational schedules.
Reasonable organizational and technical safeguards are used, but no internet system is risk-free. Providers may process data in other jurisdictions subject to applicable contractual and legal safeguards.
Depending on residence and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or information about processing, and may appeal or complain to a regulator. We may verify identity proportionately before fulfilling a request.
The site is not directed to children and does not knowingly request their personal data. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
Send privacy requests to [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject. Effective September 4, 2026.
